Hi!

I'm Lara, a Brazilian multimedia and data journalist with experience in reporting, writing, and storytelling across different formats. My work includes news reporting, feature writing, scriptwriting, on-air presenting, live broadcasts, and digital journalism, covering topics such as technology, international affairs, health, and social issues.

Throughout my career, I have worked at leading Brazilian newsrooms such as Globo's digital news platform g1, Estadão, and UOL, reporting on topics ranging from public health and science to technology, social media, and global trends. I'm passionate about finding meaningful stories, making complex topics accessible, and bringing relevant information to audiences through clear and engaging narratives.

I also have a strong background in data journalism. I completed the Lede Program at Columbia Journalism School, where I trained in Python, data scraping, APIs, and data-driven storytelling. I enjoy combining journalistic skills with data analysis to explore questions, identify patterns, and communicate stories in new ways.

Outside journalism, I love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and playing with pets :)
